Amazon review downloader - browser extension

About

Amazon regularly changes its profile pages. Since late 2024, the profile page has no longer shown how many hearts a review has received.

This can make it harder to see how readers respond to your reviews and to learn what makes a helpful review.

This extension downloads the reviews shown on your Amazon profile page, including their ratings and heart counts, into a CSV file you can keep or analyse.

What you get

The profile-review CSV includes the ASIN, title, review text, star rating, heart count, review URL, product thumbnail URL, whether the review contains uploaded images, and character, word, and sentence counts.

It supports Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.ca, and Amazon.de.

How it works

When you visit your profile page at https://www.amazon.co.uk/profile (or the equivalent page on a supported Amazon site). Open the Reviews tab; the extension will select it automatically if needed.

Click the extension icon and choose Get profile data. The extension scrolls through the profile page, waits for further reviews to load, and continues until Amazon returns no more reviews. It then downloads a CSV file through your browser.

Your review data is processed in your browser and the CSV is downloaded to your device. It is not sent to the developer or another service.

Amazon Vine specific functionality

Limitations and known issues

• Supports .com, .co.uk, .ca and .de only: To request another Amazon site, please contact the developer.
• Review count limit: The profile download stops after three minutes. In typical use, 1,000 reviews take under 30 seconds, but the actual limit depends on Amazon's response time. Please contact the developer if this is a problem.
• Reliability: The extension depends on Amazon loading reviews correctly on the profile page. If the CSV contains fewer reviews than expected, refresh the page and try again.

Installation and help

Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons. The Chrome version can also be installed in Microsoft Edge.
